Description

Avantiques is please to offer this 18th-19th century Chinese Qing dynasty elmwood and iron bench with arched barrel legs. Rare and unique arched legs are supported by hand forged iron straps and clamps. The bench seat is a one plank 1.5-2 inch thick piece of elmwood with a beautiful patina of circa two centuries. The top plank is also adorned with scrolled accents reminiscent of an alter table. Would look beautiful in a Siddhārtha Gautama, Shakyamuni Buddha rich environment space.

Condition: Very good with wear commensurate of age and use. Very sturdy and presents well.
