Great 19th century English marine sailboat oil painting! I bought this at the Paris Flea Markets a decade ago because it touched me then but now it’s time to let someone else enjoy it. I paid $800 for it.

The scenic represents a turbulent and windy day in a large port with several sailboats and row boats loading and unloading mariners and fisherman. Ladies are watching the daily routine from the docks.

Condition: Very good with wear and crackelure commensurate of age.
