Emile Albert Gruppe “Woodcutters” Oil Painting, circa 1950

$15,000.00

If this painting wasn’t already titled “Woodcutters”; I would call it “Wow!” I’ve owned several Gruppe paintings and this by far; is the best! Large, complex, interesting, rare, older and pristine, thick paint, original frame and master detail work. I think that covers it! A majority of the painting was painted with rare and valuable Lapis Lazuli clay paint. This painting will not last long and is for serious collectors, circa 1950 midcentury.
