Émile Gallé French Walnut and Fruitwood Marquetry Two-Tiered Pedestal table.
This Art Nouveau classic two tiered French walnut pedestal with fruitwood and exotic marquetry decoration has two shelves with beautifully worked marquetry showing botanical leaves, vines, flowers and an exquisite “Papillon” or “Butterfly”. Supporting the double tiered structure are four curved and cupped walnut legs again showing Galle’s genius designs depicting nature that created the Art Nouveau form.
