Description
A stunning late 19th century Berlin KPM Porcelain plaque dating from circa 1887 of the penitent Magdalene after the paintings by Friedrich Heinrich Fuger and Correggio. A beautifully painted figure featuring Mary Magdalene lying outside against a rocky background, naked save for a gorgeous rich blue fabric swathed around her. She is reading a book by lamplight, with a small lamp next to her.

Impressed Sceptre and KPM marks. Marked “No. 105 / 637”
Condition: Porcelain Excellent! Frame with wear and a fine stabile crack.
