Leon Laurent Galand (1872-1960).

Leon Galand was born in Montpelier, France, in 1872. He was an painter of the French Impressionist school, and was noted for his beautiful and colorful landscapes. Galand was a recipient of many awards at exhibition, including the Grand Prix of Rome and a gold medal at the Paris Salon.
