Louis Riche (French, 1877-1949) Paris.
An early Art Nouveau 20th century, French, bronze animalier of a large standing cow and a pensive milk maiden who just finished doing one of her chores carrying a full bucket of milk resting her tired figure on the cow’s back. The finely cast and chased cow and woman on a beautiful green marble base. Retaining its fine original gilt patination of rich browns, greens and reds.
Foundry signature: R. Patrouilleau. EDITE.

Condition: No damage or repairs. Ware commensurate of age.
