French, late 17th, early 18th century Circa 1690 – 1700
A knee hole desk with a single door flanked on each side by two drawers, decorated with birds, floral and foliate marquetry reminiscent of Dutch work, supported by eight legs with gilded capitals and bases locks and key work.
Dimensions: 32 x 44 1/2 x 22 inches
Condition: Good with wear commensurate of age and use. Please look at photos carefully. Minimal movement with minimal to no losses to marquetry. The backing looks to be newer.
