Pair of edo period 18th/19th century silver inlaid Abumi Japanese iron Stirrups. Signed Samurai Abumi with inlaid designs of leaves, peony, flowers and vines. These Abumi were well used and show beautifully. Museum quality! Pre Meiji period.

Signed and not dated.

Measures: 12 inch length

10 inch height

5.5 inch width

Condition: Very good. Areas of silver loss and oxidation. One wooden insole is cracked. Could use a good cleaning and polishing to bring out more silver inlay.
