Pair of Louis XVI Upholstered Walnut Fauteuils Armchairs 18th century
Pair of armchairs or fauteuils, Luis XVI, late 18th century, in walnut wood with back sculpted in guilloche, on fluted tapering legs, the interior has been reinforced and restored, upholstery in great condition. Most probably silk.
Height 34 inches, width 33 inches, depth of seat 18 inches, height of seat 16 inches.
Condition: Good and sturdy. Wear consistent of age and use. evidence of old woodworm holes; one somewhat noticeable stain.
