Description

Museum Chinese Cloisonne bronze two-piece planter Gui vase from the late Qing period. 19th century. Superlative cloisonne craftsmanship makes this two-piece treasure with four dragon feet and heads with turquoise eyes. Absolutely magnificent! Mixed metals of bronze, copper and guilted brass. Rare reds, ox blood, white, pinks and earth tones come together to form Archaistic patterns. The secret of the piece is the beautiful lotus design hidden on the bottom.

Measures: Height 18.5 Inches,

width 14 Inches.

Excellent condition: Missing one ring in dragon mouth with wear commensurate of age.
