Description
A Chinese bronze medicine Buddha figure, Qing Dynasty, 19th century.
The Buddha is seated in dhyanasana on a lotus flower base with the right hand in dhyanamudra holding a bowl filled with myrobalan fruit, and the left hand close to the heart chakra in prayer.
Measures: Height 8.25 inches x 5.5 inches wide x 4.5 inches deep.(21.0 x 14.0 x 11.4 cm)
Condition: Some oxidation, Verdigris and ware throughout indicative of age.
