Description

From the Richard (Dick) Bass personal collection acquired by him on one of his three expeditions (1982,1983,1985) through Katmandu to climb Mt Everest to be the first man to climb the seven summits.

A beautiful used decorative carved and hammered brass tea pot from 19th century Katmandu, Tibet. Very rustic, ornate, used and most certainly sentimental to its previous owner who may have used it last at his Mt Everest camp before becoming the oldest man ever to Summit Everest during the 1980s.
