Description

Tiffany Studios New York Bamboo Glass and bronze Table Lamp.

This exquisite Tiffany Studios Bamboo table lamp will guarantee to make the next owner appreciate the best of Tiffany Studios workmanship. The Bamboo pattern is rare and highly sought after by collectors and this one has next to no issues worth mentioning and is ready to plug in and enjoy. All the assorted green color leaves are perfect and realistic surrounded by caramel brown and pearl white leaded glass tiles. A truly delightful palette to gaze at and admire. The Bamboo shade is accompanied by the correct Bamboo base which is a piece of art in itself and extremely heavy. The solid bronze base has an extraordinary mostly greenish patina with the trademark mottling of red and brown (One of the best I have ever seen). The three cluster lights have correct GE paddles and period correct sockets and are also position adjustable. The original bamboo heat cap in the crown on this beauty. All original and correct.

The ‘Bamboo’ is one of the very few lamps for which Tiffany Studios used curved, instead of completely flat glass. As each leaf is made from a single, large piece of glass, it needed to be slightly curved to conform to the shape of the shade.

Height: 22 Inches
Shade Diameter: 16.25 Inches

Condition: Excellent with no issues aside from 4 disbursed tight cracks and some areas that need cleaning. See photos. Of my current collection of over 25 TSNY lamps; this is my favorite and very hard to find and acquire.
