Description

Tibetan priest’s crown top Buddha Stupa in carved wood with embroidered silk appliques, surmounted by a flaming crescent moon, sun and jewel symbol. This would represent Buddha statue, his seven realms, the elements and sit on the alter in a Siddhārtha Gautama, Shakyamuni Buddhist temple. From afar; it looks gilt and bronze. This stupa retains isn’t original base which holds sacred Buddhist remains or scriptures. Buy this treasure fast as it is a museum-worthy religious artifact. I have never seen anything remotely comparable to this rare and important Stupa.

Stupas are generally solid, bell-shaped structures that contain a holy relic such as a hair or tooth from Buddha, relics or remains of eminent Buddhist figure, or a sacred Buddhist scripture. They are modelled on ancient Indian burial mounds. Stupas themselves were venerated as symbols of the Buddha.
