Amalric Walter (Français, 1870–1959)

This might be Almaric Walter’s finest piece. I have only seen one other green one in 40 years. The base is somewhat reminiscent or Argy Rousseau’s and Decorchemonts best work and his realism and proportions on the parrot are superb! Also the size at reaching almost 6 inches is impressive. When they say “Buy the best”; they were referring to this piece! Signed: A. Walter Nancy
